PTO
What is the PTO?
The CES PTO is an all-volunteer, parent-run, non-profit organization committed to enhancing and enriching the education of our children and fostering a sense of community within CES. We seek to bridge the gap between parents and staff so that each student can reach their highest potential. We strive to do this by:
- Promoting open communication and transparency while cultivating a sense of community between parents, students, and faculty through monthly meetings and school-based family engagement activities
- Enhancing the educational environment – supporting teachers and students by raising funds for identified needs within CES
- Recruiting and coordinating volunteers for programs and projects that support and enrich our curriculum and educational goals
- Working in partnership to serve and advocate for all of our students and to help create a safe and healthy learning environment where students can excel and feel confident in themselves.
Our annual budget is raised solely through the generous support of our CES community. All of the money raised goes directly to the CES facility, staff, and students. Parent involvement is a fundamental part of what makes a school community rich and robust. We encourage you to connect with the PTO Executive Board, learn more about our programs, and get involved in any of the many volunteer opportunities that work with your interests and schedule.
